RSM Maintenance Mourns the Loss of Founder and President Michael Sargenti

RSM Maintenance is deeply saddened to announce that Mike Sargenti, founder and co-President, passed away on Tuesday June 10^th, 2014.  Mike lost his long battle with cancer.  He will be greatly missed by his family, his coworkers and his friends in the industry.

Mike founded RSM Maintenance in 1998 with his brothers Rob and Stephen. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Le Moyne College. Mike was an active member of the Professional Retail Store Maintenance (PRSM) and Restaurant Facility Management Association (RFMA) organizations.

Stephen Sargenti will continue in his current role as President of RSM Maintenance.

Michael Jason Sargenti

Beloved husband of Laurie. Loving father of Gabrielle and Michael Jr. Cherished son of Robert and Barbara Sargenti. Dear brother of Robert Sargenti Jr. and wife Cori and Stephen Sargenti and wife Cecelia. Michael is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Michael was an active member of the sports community in Mahwah in addition to being president of RSM in Paramus, NJ. He coached a wide range of sports including baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer and street hockey. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Michael spent the last 6 years of his life battling brain cancer and creating memories for his children, family and friends. His doors were always open to everyone. Michael battled each stage of cancer with strength and grace. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12-3 PM and 6-9 PM and on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday June 13, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. Donations may be made to Township of Mahwah Youth Sports Boosters.
